Alexa’s Hope has a goal of being able to support children and families who are awaiting a transplant or who have had a transplant. As we grow, we hope to be able to do more of this. So far, we have been able to help fund a child who attended the Transplant Games of America and we have made a donation to a child and family who have had to relocate as the child awaits a transplant.
Alexa’s Hope has also been able to donate Monica’s prints as awards to individuals for their work in furthering the organ donation/transplantation cause and to honor donor families and recipients. There is an effort under way to make cards available in all transplant center hospital gift shops.
